Instructions are normally last resort. Just plug it inand follow on screen instructions easy peasy. On the downside it would be brilliant if dongle gave you full access to www.
Even after reading the other review I was slightly surpised to find the instructions still in German, however the installation disk is in English. So I just connected the USBLan to my PC and installed the software Disconnected the Lan and reconnected to the USB portal on my FoxT2 and set it up on the TV screen.MenuSettingsSystemInternet Setting Setting up Wifi connection was easy as the PVR could see my WiFi network all I had to do was put in the password and it connected straight away.
After translating the German instructions and using the supplied PC software to configure the stick, it turns out you have to configure it again in the PVRs menu anyway so i.e. you dont need to do any of that other stuff just stick it in the PVR, configure it there, and youre done! Irritating, but anyway, the stick then functions fine. But had to return mine, since it only gives access to iPlayer no other equivalents from any other broadcaster, and no YouTube web. I was concerned by the previous reviews, and the lack of instructions in English, but need not have worried. I simply plugged in the USB dongle to my HDR FOX T2, it automatically installed and found my WLAN, and with the addition of the WEP key, I was in business and watching iPlayer in under two minutes. Thats what I call plug and play ! Recommended.
I am using this with HDRFOX T2 box and I am very pleased with operation, using it for IPlayer. However, could only find instructions in German! The inclusion of a CDROM was a bit disconcerting, for obvious reasons, but it did not appear to be required. You have to configure WLAN and wireless networking from the Box, again no English instructions could be found. In my case the only info. needed was a password, Router key. TV Portal needed power downup to start. English instructions please!
