Does EXACTLY what you think it should. Brilliant picture. BBC IPlayer works well. You can watch what ever you miss from the BBC. Records an entire series into its own folder for play back when you want. Brilliant at everything !

hi a wee note to let you know that we are absolutely delighted with our black box its so easy to set up as it more or less does it itself we have cancelled our cable connection for the tv because of its preformance thankyou and we are watching for any updates on the product

I cancelled my 50 per month SKY subscription and installed this Foxsat HDR 500 box. Brilliant job. The dish is already tuned. Channel set up was automatic and I get every channel I need for free, forever. Ill miss Sky Sports, but not that much.

Having had this equipment for a month I am absolutely delighted with the all round performance of this superb piece of technology. It has brought to life the picture on the screen of our Sony Bravia KDL32D300 LCD TV, which previously had been excellent. HD picture quality is outstanding. The simplicity of the programming is a pleasure to carry out. Before purchasing from HUMAX DIRECT, I had read many reviews on their equipment, one negative comment was the time it takes to Boot Up. In my opinion this is quite farcical, it takes approx 25 seconds to come to life and in no way causes me a problem.The delivery day was at my request, and I was informed of the delivery time to within one hour of the box arriving.A very big thankyou to Humax for a great product and sales back up. Dont hesitate, go out and buy one !

Hats off to supplier and courier, next day delivery at the time stipulated, thankyou !Like so many before me the cost of SKY became prohibitive and I became frustrated at those special offers to new customers at the expense of loyal ones.Easy to set up and far more suited to my needs. The true test will be the one of time but a very pleasing and promising start. Highly recommended.
