First Class and Trouble free

This is the best freeview recorder I have had. If you are a frequent user of the recording programme guideEPG this Humax is far easier to see than those on Sony and Panasonic which now use GemStar where large sections of the screen are used for Promotional Material. The Humax guide uses the full screen space which displays more info more clearly. Highly recommended

Superb Freeview PVR

The PVR9300T500 is a superb little piece of kit, after coming from the excellent Topfield PVR5800 it had a lot to live up to, thankfully it surpassed all expectations especially with the HDMI upscaling.So easy to use also that even Grandparents can use it easily!Looking forward also to see what Humax do with Freeview HD PVRs, as Ill certainly be picking one up after this...

Closest thing to Sky

After looking at several freeview PVRs, they all have seem to have the same problems...e.g. loud hard discs, slow loading times, lack of memory etc..But finally I have one which is all you could ask for...I would for sure recommend this to anyone who wants the freeview feature but does not want a Sky box. Easy to use, Lots of memory and at a good price. Only negative thing Id have to say about it is that it does take a few minutes to load of programme guide, which means you have to keep it on always if you want instant programme guide. Overall 910.

I have bought many freeview recorder boxes and without doubt this is by far the most reliable. The features and guide are brilliant and unlike other boxes this one IS silent!! It is worth buying the 500 gb unit for that little extra too, i am considering a 2nd unit for upstairs!
