So good I bought another one for the back room. I prefer this to the latest version. Fan is quieter, and has a clock display. A few niggles, but quickly sorted by customer service. Im considering a third one with the price so good from Humax Direct. Maybe a black one this time !

I came across Humax Direct after typing Cheap PVR into Google. Our main PVR is a Sagem but I needed one for our bedroom to replace an ageing, very squeaky Freeview VCR which my wife uses to record all the craft shows on QVC!Knowing the Humax reputation I had no hesitation in ordering the Managers Special which was an extremely good price. It came within a couple of days and took less than 5 mins to set up and start working.The unit istelf was much larger than I anticipated, almost as large as the VCR, but that doesnt really matter as space was not an issue.My only criticism is the programme guide. Humax say the BBC1 channel is the best for downloading but it still takes forever so if you need to access it quickly, you will need to leave the unit switched on, otherwise you may as well go and have a cup of tea.That apart, I cant recommend this product highly enough.

Really pleased we purchased this, Im a bit of a technophobe but have found it so easy to use from day 1. Would recommend this as so easy to use. Excellent purchase and customer service.

Have had my 9200T for nearly 2 years now. Superb machine. Have had a quirk handset control freezing, which customer service quickly identified and advised the remedy.The customer service newsletters are useful and reassuring, backing up the advice in the handbook.Keep up the good work.I look forward to the day when I can justify upgrading as I know there will be a Humax machine to reliably meet my needs.

I just wanted to say how good this product is. I have read mixed reviews of all PVRs on the internet and wanted something reliable. I have been torn between Humax and Topfield for some time then found this site where I was able to buy a recon Humax. So far no major problems. Recording, picture quality, EPG, general use all excellent. I would buy Humax again and this one under 100 what more could one ask for.
